The most numerous spirits that join the Nighthaunt processions are the Chainrasp Hordes. These ghosts are created from the most ruthless and irredeemable criminals of the Mortal Realms. They are lesser spirits, who only continue to exist by the force of their endless grudge and overwhelming madness, a negative energy that drains the will of their enemies. The Chainrasps may have thought that death was a way to escape terrible imprisonment, but in truth it did not free them at all.
This set contains 10 Chainrasp Hordes, designed to be as easy as possible for new hobbyists to assemble, yet detailed enough for seasoned veterans to appreciate. Its pieces snap together, without the need for glue, so assembling them is very simple.
Like many Nighthaunts, the Chainrasp Hordes are little more than wisps of ethereal form made real by the sheer power of their hatred. Each of these miniatures is, in essence, a floating hooded robe, beneath which is a cadaverous face with a malevolent expression; From each of their necks and arms hang several thick chains ending in an iron weight that symbolizes their depraved criminal history in life (one even has his wrists tied in shackles). They are armed with an evil arsenal of swords, axes and spiked maces, and the kit includes options to build a Dreadwarden, the unit's leader, whose face is encased in an iron helmet and carries a large candelabra, as well as a set of heavy iron keys.
This kit is comprised of 20 snap-on parts, and includes 10 Citadel 25mm round bases.
