Like all the Dúnedain chiefs before him, Arathorn is a descendant of Isildur and heir to the throne of Gondor. A fierce and skilled warrior, Arathorn is also a noble leader who has masterminded many victories. Although his life was cut short by an Orc raid, his legacy was passed on to his son, Aragorn, who would change the destiny of Middle-earth by claiming his birthright.
Halbarad is Aragorn's kinsman and among his closest and most loyal companions. When Aragorn leaves to join the Fellowship of the Ring, it is Halbarad who takes command of the Gray Company Rangers and is quick to respond to his lord when Aragorn calls them to gather and join him.
Arathorn and Halbarad are Skilled Heroes from the Rangers army list. Arathorn wields a longsword to deadly effect, while Halbarad wields a sword and bow. A version of Halbarad also sees him carrying the unfurled banner of Arwen Evenstar, which he carried when the Gray Company fought alongside their lord at the Battle of Pelennor Fields.
This set contains three metal miniatures: Halbarad (one holding a bow and one carrying Arwen Evenstar's banner) and Arathorn, supplied with three Citadel 25mm round bases.
