The catapults of Mordor are Sauron's first port of call for when his armies need to breach enemy fortifications. Crafted from the strongest forests plundered from the forests of Middle Earth and held together by large iron plates, these contraptios are a fearsome sight to those within the walls of a stronghold. Flinging huge rocks at the enemy, these catapults have seen cities and citadels fall from Umbar to Angmar. So heavy are the fired rocks, that each catapult has a troll to carry them, as well as to protect the crew from any attacks that attempted to scry parties.
The catapult itself is a great looking sculpted contraption as if it were made of strong wood and Mordor wrought iron. With a huge, metal-bound rock at one end, it is carried by a huge, grizzly troll wearing a mask and little else, carrying a heavy rock. In addition to this, the kit comes with 3 ORC warriors to man the catapult, each wearing sinister heavy armor.
