Gandalf the Grey, one of the few Istari, is tasked with leading the Free Peoples of Middle-earth to defeat Evil and restore peace. To this end, Gandalf advises Thorin Oakenshield to gather a company of dwarves to reclaim their homeland from the clutches of the dragon Smaug. Gandalf joins them and the brave Bilbo Baggins in their search for Erebor, fearing that if left unsolved, a dark force will attempt to gain the Dragon's loyalty.
Captured and tortured, Thráin is now a broken being who can barely remember his name, much less his proud history and heritage. However, he remains dangerous, for deep within his damaged mind lie the instincts of a proud dwarven warrior.
While Gandalf is one of the most powerful wizards in all of Middle-earth and a powerful warrior to boot, Thráin is a wild card who can fight with the strength of a berserker or turn against his allies. Gandalf can be part of the armies of Thorin's Company, Survivors of Laketown, The White Council, Fellowship, and Shire. Thráin can be taken into the armies of the White Council or the Dark Powers of Dol Guldur. Gandalf can also be assembled with or without his trademark hat.
This set contains two resin miniatures: 1x Gandalf the Gray and 1x Thráin the Broken. Each model is supplied with a suitable base.
