Liquid Watercolor is a range of bright, transparent liquid colors formulated with a selection of colorants dispersed in water and a gum arabic solution. The tones are very luminous and of great intensity, they do not settle and are miscible with each other, spreading easily without leaving brush strokes. Liquid Watercolor colors are very versatile, they can be used in watercolor techniques, graphic design, advertising and illustration, calligraphy, technical pens, to dye wood or as a colorant for pastes. Watercolors are “acid free” therefore they can be used in scrapbooking techniques and to retouch photographs. Due to its viscosity of 25 cPs, the colors are perfect for airbrushing since they do not contain pigments or resins that can clog the airbrush valves. The most intense colorants have been selected for the range, however, no colorant is as permanent to light as a pigment, therefore it is recommended not to expose the colors to direct sunlight without prior protection with Varnish or Acrylic Medium. All colors can be mixed and matched with our mediums and textures. Liquid Watercolor is produced in accordance with European Safety and Environmental Regulations (REACH protocol).
