No troop exemplifies the Idoneth Deepkin way of life better than the Akhelian Guard. Riding their Fangmora eels, they fight in an irregular formation ideal for rapid assaults and sudden retreats, exemplifying the "hit and run" style of warfare so common among the aelves of the deep. The Morrsarr Guards are armed with voltaic spears and shields that channel the bioelectricity of the Fangmoras, then releasing it as lethal short-range discharges. Some legends speak of formations of Morrsarr Guards so large that the combined brightness of their biovoltaic discharges has completely blinded the entire enemy army.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the parts necessary to assemble 3 Morrsarr Guards. Each of them is mounted on a Fangmora Eel, a sinuous beast controlled by reins attached to their heads, and capable of attacking with their jaws and tails. The Akhelians who ride them are clad in heavy armor that leaves their arms exposed, while their legs are covered in chain mail and cloth for greater mobility. They are equipped with voltaic spears and shields, and their helmets display splendid crests. An additional, specific helm is included for your leader, a Lochian Prince. Also included are options for a musician, who wears a shell and open helmet, and a standard bearer, whose Fangmora Eel carries a large banner. The kit also contains numerous accessories with which to decorate the mounts and bases: nets, ropes, bottles and lamps.
