The Gallic cavalry was an important mercenary element in the Carthaginian armies during the Punic Wars, as well as fighting in all Gallic armies against the Romans, the Carthaginians and their successors. They can also be used as Caesarian and Early Empire Roman allies when fighting Germanic tribes.
This set of Gallic cavalry wears armor to represent them as noble cavalry, an elite force within a Gallic army. Weapons include swords, spears and javelins plus a good variety of round shields. Pieces to create musicians and flag bearers are also included, plus we have provided optional capes. This set is fully compatible with LBMS transfers.
