The crown jewel of the fleet, the Arkanaut Ironclad is a majestic aircraft. Packed with weaponry, her deep cargo holds can be loaded with ether-gold or loaded to the gunwale with Arkanaut Companies or Grundstok Thunderers. The advances made by Kharadron's endrineers have allowed for increasingly larger ships in the air fleet, with the Ironclad being the largest to date. Clad in layer upon layer of riveted iron plates, these massive ships rain staggering amounts of aether pellets, bombs, and torpedoes on anything daring enough to stand between the Kharadron Overlords and their bounty of aether-gold.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the parts necessary to assemble an Ironclad Arkanaut. Befitting its status as the flagship of the Kharadron air fleet, this model is impressive in size and absolutely covered in weaponry. As your primary weapon, you can choose between a large aerial cannon, a large aerial hook, and an aethermatic burst cannon, with ethershot carbines, a supremacy mine, aethershock torpedoes, detonation drills, fragmentation charges, and grudge settlement bombs attached to the helmet.
The ship itself is supported by a massive blimp covered in detailed pipes and accessories, and features a host of customizable features: the crow's nest can feature a Kharadron navigator or communicator with its own telescope and light box, and there's a Lots of rigging, bomb racks, ladders and various boat accessories to place wherever you want. It is covered in airfoils that can be modeled to show the direction of travel and a complex-looking gear system that drives the rudder. There's even a plank that those foolish enough to be captured will be forced to walk...
The crew of the Ironclad is as detailed as the ship they man, with a captain standing at the ship's helm; an endrinrigger with various tools hanging over the side, fixing a major leak; a gunner to stand at the main gun and the signalman and navigator.
This kit consists of 152 components and is supplied with a Citadel 170 x 109mm oval base and a 50mm ball and socket flying stem.
