The Rough Riders are powerful cavalry troops deployed by the Astra Militarum, the most famous of which are recruited from the steppes of Attila. Their combat skill and great mobility make these horsemen a powerful force, whether leading an attack or flanking the enemy. When it's time to launch a charge, the Rough Riders plunge their hunting spears into the enemy and detonate the deadly spikes, giving the assault an explosive impact.
This multi-part plastic kit builds five Attilan Rough Riders. These sturdy warriors are mounted on horses loaded with combat gear, from flasks and sleeping bags to holstered blasters and saddle-slung blasters. Each Rough Rider wields an explosive hunting spear, which can be built with a frag spike to shred infantry or a melta spike to destroy tanks. A Rough Rider can also be built with a power lance, and the kit includes components to assemble a Rough Rider Sergeant with a choice of two feathered heads and an optional power saber, brandished for attack or sheathed on the hip.
There are plenty of cosmetic options and interchangeable options to make each squad of Rough Riders your own: you'll find different arm poses with spears, a variety of multi-part heads, and plenty of front and rear bandoliers, loaded with items like grenades, pouches and a curved Attilan dagger.
This kit consists of 122 plastic components and is supplied with 5 Citadel 60x35mm oval bases. Also included is a Cadia Infantry Transfer Sheet with 597 transfers and an Astra Militarum Vehicle Transfer Sheet with 475 transfers from a variety of regiments. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly.
