The barrows are the spirits of the long-dead rulers of Men, created by the dark sorceries of the Witch-king of Angmar and now subject to his will. Even after the fearsome kingdom of Angmar fell into ruin, the Barrow-Wights continued to survive. Those who venture into its domain meet an untimely death, as the mere touch of these evil spirits is enough to paralyze their victims, leaving the Barrow free to sacrifice them at will.
Barrows are powerful assets to any army they join, as they wield Paralyze, one of the most devastating magical powers in the game!
