Grombrindal's reputation is almost mythological. Stories abound of his astute tactical advice on the battlefield; On the Blood Bowl field this translates into a mastery of team strategies and the ability to get the best out of the players around you.
The Black Gobbo is legendarily cunning, as evidenced by his countless elaborate plans to undermine the White Dwarf. Before you even think about setting foot on the pitch, it is a fact that you will have already established a network of bribery, hostage-taking and other ruses that secure the cooperation of match officials.
Legendary heroes, this star player duo can be used in Blood Bowl matches as long as one player has a team of Dwarves, Halflings, Humans, or Nords and the other has a team of Chaos Renegades, Goblins, Orcs, or Underworlders. They are not recruited in the same way as other star players; honestly, things like contract negotiations, legal issues, or basic civility are pretty foreign to them, and both need to feature in your game.
Grombrindal looks in good shape: his miniature features a splendid shock of white hair and a magnificent beard covering a scowl, with plenty of dwarven iconography appearing on his equipment. The Black Gobbo is appropriately dressed and hatted, with sneakily studded armor under the tunic, and a bomb. He's holding a bomb. That's probably not going to end well.
