Matte, water-based acrylic colors, specially formulated for airbrushing. Each color has been rigorously developed by our experts in order to offer the modeller maximum historical fidelity. The Model Air range contains the widest selection of military colors used in both vehicles and aircraft, from conflicts in World War I and II, to the present day. The colors can be used directly on the surface, or diluted with our Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. They dry quickly and it is advisable to apply successive coats on a previously primed surface. A few hours after application, the color forms a film of extraordinary resistance without altering the slightest detail of the model. It can be used with a brush. The recommended settings for compressor use are around 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, we recommend using Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. Safety:Model Air is non-flammable and contains no solvents. See information regarding product certifications in the Security section. Presentation:Model Air is presented in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles. with dropper. This presentation prevents the evaporation of the paint and drying inside the bottle. You can use minimal quantities and preserve the contents of the bottle for a long time.
