THE HISTORY
When Colonel Haskell 'Hell Fist' Aldalon and the Catachan 57th Jungle Fighters arrive at the quagmire of Gondwa VI, they find it trapped in the clutches of an ever-growing greenskin menace. Rather than reinforce the meager existing defenses, the Catachans choose to go on the offensive and retake the strategically vital Outpost Four. In the process, they take out the sole survivor of the outpost's fall: the barely trained Private Torvin of the Second Skadi Infantry.
As the Astra Militarum faces off against savage orcs and Colonel Aldalon accepts the cost of victory, Torvin finds himself under suspicion of cowardice on the part of the Jungle Fighters. The young soldier's new comrades could be as dangerous to him as the xenos marauders... unless he can pass this trial by fire and earn the respect of the Catachan Daemons.
