The Deathwatch are an extended Chapter of Space Marines and the Imperium's greatest weapon against the multiple threats posed by countless xenos races. Each of these posthuman warriors is a veteran of countless battles, decimated by their original Chapter to undertake the Long Watch with the Deathwatch, guarding against alien incursion. Only the most skilled xenos hunters receive this honor, and among their new battle-brothers, they learn tactics and strategies to take down a wide range of alien races. The Deathwatch are an elite force equipped with a variety of specialized ammunition types, unusual weapons, and secret war equipment developed to most efficiently cut down their sneaking enemies. They are black-armored hunters, filled with a righteous hatred for the xenos, and they will not rest until the alien's taint is removed from the Galaxy.
