Commissar Yarrick is one of the great heroes of the Empire. At Armageddon, it was Yarrick who inspired the guardsmen to perform prodigious acts of sacrifice and valor. The motivation of the soldiers in Yarrick's presence reached such a point that not a single one of them was executed for cowardice, even in the presence of the most terrifying situations. It was in Hades Hive that Yarrick would fight his toughest battle, and where he would lose his right arm to an Ork Warboss's combat claw. Fighting through pain and agony, Yarrick decapitated the Warboss and claimed that same combat claw for himself, as a symbol of his resistance to the Orks.
