Since Sauron's arrival in Dol Guldur, the surrounding Greenwood has become a place of fear and darkness: corrupted by the Necromancer's influence, it is known by the new name of Mirkwood. However, the shadow that had grown over the forest had not gone unnoticed by the wise men, and to keep his return to Middle-earth a secret, Sauron fled to the East. Their influence over the forest faded in the following years and Dol Guldur fell into ruin.
This terrain collection contains six complete Ruins of Dol Guldur™ plastic scenery kits, inspired by the ruined fortress of Dol Guldur, the Hill of Sorcery, at the southern edge of Mirkwood.
These kits include statues, ladders, metal doors, dead trees and lots of climbing vines, as well as spooky skulls and skeletal remains. The individual pieces of all six kits are fully modular, so they can be assembled in a variety of ways to create your own unique scenery pieces. This box gives you enough pieces to build a truly imposing building, fill a battlefield with a wide variety of ruins, or a little of both, and will also save you money compared to purchasing the contents individually.
This collection is made up of an incredible 816 plastic components. This stage is supplied unpainted and requires assembly.
