The Grundstok Thunderers are militarized formations contracted for fleet defense. The continuous training provided by the Grundstok Academies results in the great discipline and marksmanship of its graduates: under the orders of their officer, the Grundcaptain, they march, turn on their heels and aim with great speed and precision. When they fire with almost perfect synchronicity, the line of Grundstok Thunderers disappears behind the flashes and thunder of weapons as they unleash a volley of projectiles capable of stopping the best-equipped enemies in their tracks.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the parts necessary to assemble 5 Grundstok Thunderers, professional soldiers and the main fighting force of the Kharadron Overlords. They are all armed with an aethershot rifle, with all sorts of impressive special weapons available as options: aether fumigator, Grundstok mortar (with an additional projectile to adorn the base), an aethershot cannon (so powerful that the duardin carrying it requires a shield to protect oneself from the discharge) and a five-barreled weapon known as a sweeper. Their sealed suits are covered with valves, pipes and breathing systems to make the air breathable in their lungs smudged with aetheric gold.
There are options for a Gunnery Sargeant and an Honor Bearer; The first carries a special double-barreled aetheric rifle, can be mounted with a prosthetic leg, has two head options and has a Drillbill: an amazing mechanical bird that launches itself at the enemy. The Honor Bearer has a relic added to the backpack.
