Karla von Kill takes a day off from the family pig farm to watch Blood Bowl at a local stadium with some friends. Having never seen the sport up close before (only having caught the occasional big game in the crystal ball at the local tavern), she is immediately captivated by the flashy plays, colorful commentary, and over-the-top violence. She stays after the match to help clear up and manages to talk to some of the Hochstadt Hellfires, who convince her to abandon provincial life and join them on the road. He spends the next few weeks driving carts, setting up stalls, selling tickets, and dealing with troublemakers, but it's not long before the Hellfires open their doors to new recruits. Karla is one of the first in line, where her passion for the sport impresses head coach Krüber. He takes a place on the reserve bench and never looks back.
In 2483, Karla helped the Hellfires break out of the backwater circuit and start hitting some of the bigger stadiums. She has proven to be a natural Blitzer, always leading the team from the front. When they faced the Bloodskull Brutes, she coordinated the frontal offensive to take down the team's two Trolls in short order, and was given the position of team captain in recognition of her efforts.
