Klovis the Redeemer and Deacon Malakev are rarely seen apart. To impart the Emperor's faith to the hapless and loveless in the Necromunda underhive, they work as a well-oiled team. Klovis himself brings the fire and fury of faith, the flames adorning his robes, the brazier lit and spitting, the gutting chainsaw rattling, giving his sermons an even more violent undertone. Deacon Malakev is Klovis' dedicated servant and is little more than a mobile lectern. He obediently follows Klovis around the underhive, recording his exploits in books and scrolls, his hunched form shaking off bullets and blows as he acts as an armored pulpit from which the Redeemer can deliver his deadly sermons.
