Kratos' Heavy Assault Tank is based on an Ancient Terran pattern deployed during the Unification of Old Earth, redesigned after the Emperor's treaty with the Lords of Mars to serve as the spearhead of the Great Crusade, a linebreaker and a enemy hammer. This battle tank is virtually impervious to enemy fire, and its constant, inexorable advance provides an indomitable core for any Legiones Astartes assault, reinforced by a barrage of overwhelming firepower.
This multi-part plastic kit builds a Kratos Heavy Assault Tank, a nearly impenetrable war machine packed with heavy weaponry. This impressive vehicle can be built with one of three powerful turret weapons: the versatile Kratos battle cannon, the tank-busting melta rifle, or the searing volkite cardanelle. It also features a coaxial autocannon, a pair of hull-mounted cannons (autocannons, heavy bolters, lascannons, or volkite calibers), and a pair of separate secondary weapons: heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins.
The kit also includes components to upgrade the Kratos Heavy Assault Tank with a pivot-mounted weapon: a Havoc launcher, a heavy bolter, a heavy flamer, a multifuse or a combination weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, fusion, plasma , or volkite), as well as a searchlight, dozer blade, hunter-killer missile, and a number of cosmetic options, such as tow hooks and the Space Marines' choice of gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.
This model has no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer fans to paint it in any colors of their choice; however, the box includes a decal sheet with 42 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus Legions and the Imperial Fists.
This kit consists of 233 plastic components and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes vehicle transfer sheet. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly. We recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.
You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book to make full use of this model in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy.
