Terminator suits are the latest in personal armor technology, gifted to the finest veteran forces of the Legiones Astartes. Squads clad in Terminator armor become devastating frontline assault units, able to withstand the heaviest enemy fire and deliver a ruthless hammer blow to crush their enemies. Cataphractii suits are among the earliest Terminator armor designs, and remain the best protected of their type, with slab-shaped ceramite shoulder pads that house additional shield generators at the cost of mobility.
This multi-part plastic kit assembles 10 Cataphractii Terminators, which can be deployed in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy as a squad of 10 miniatures or two units of 5 miniatures. Each of these Terminators is armed with a Phobos-pattern combi-bolter and either a power fist, chainfist, or lightning claw; You can also choose to swap out the combi-bolter for a pair of lightning claws. The box also includes two energy swords, as well as two heavy flamethrowers and two grenade harnesses. Components are included to build a Cataphractii Sergeant for each of your squads, and the kit offers plenty of interchangeable components to make your Terminators look unique, including a variety of different heads, loincloths, breastplate designs, and shield insignia.
This set consists of 196 plastic components and is supplied with 10 Citadel 40mm round bases. Also included is a Legiones Astartes infantry decal sheet, with 339 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists legions. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly.
