Terminator suits are the latest in personal armor technology, gifted to the finest veteran forces of the Legiones Astartes. Squads clad in Terminator armor become devastating frontline assault units, able to withstand the heaviest enemy fire and deliver a ruthless hammer blow to crush their enemies. The Tartaros armor is perhaps the most advanced form of Terminator suit ever designed, offering greater durability and protection than power armor, without sacrificing mobility.
This multi-part plastic kit builds 10 Tartaros Terminators, which can be deployed in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy as a 10-miniature Legion Terminator Tartaros Squad or two 5-miniature units. Each of these Terminators is armed with a Tigris-themed combi-bolter and either a power fist, chainfist, or lightning claw; You can also choose to swap out the combi-bolter for a pair of lightning claws. The box also includes two volkite magazines and two energy swords, as well as a variety of other specialized weapons: two heavy flamers, two plasma pistols, and two reaper autocannons. Included are components to build a Tartaros Sergeant for each of your squads, with special torsos, loincloths and shoulder pads, as well as alternate heads and two grenade harnesses.
These models have no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer fans to paint them in any colors of their choice; however, the box includes a decal sheet with 339 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus Legions and the Imperial Fists. This set consists of 204 plastic components and is supplied with 10 Citadel 40mm round bases and 1 Legiones Astartes infantry decal sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly.
