At the head of the Wood Elves of Lórien are their Captains, noble and skilled warriors with extensive experience fighting the forces of Sauron. Preferring to use stealth rather than force to kill their enemies, these captains are masters of the ambush. Countless orc raiding parties have disappeared, never to be heard from again, having fallen into the traps set by these masters of stealth warfare.
The Stormcallers of Galadhrim have a natural affinity with nature and use it to control the elements and environment around them. Able to summon the wind to do their bidding and enchant their allies' swords to find weaknesses in their enemies' armor, the Stormcallers of Galadhrim are an invaluable asset of the Golden Forest.
The Wood Elves of Lórien dwell on the outskirts of the forest, acting as scouts and the first line of defense. However, unlike the Galadhrim warriors clad in golden armor, the Wood Elves prefer to don tunics of the colors of the forest to blend into the wooded environment. This allows them to ambush their enemies, firing from hidden groves rather than meeting their enemies in open warfare, a tactic that has led to many victories for the Elves of Lothlórien.
Lead and complement your Wood Elf force with this flexible combination of Heroes and Banner Warriors. A Wood Elf Captain makes an excellent warband leader, while a Storm Caller offers formidable magical support. Meanwhile, including a banner will help give your highly skilled Wood Elf warriors an advantage once combat begins in earnest.
This set contains three metal Lórien Elf Commanders: 1 Wood Elf Captain with Elf Bow, 1 Galadhrim Stormcaller, and 1 Wood Elf Warrior with Banner. Each model is supplied with a suitable base.
