Lurtz, the most powerful of Saruman's Uruk-hai, is in charge of leading the mission to capture the Ring Bearer. Leading an Uruk-hai scouting contingent, this ruthless hunter is dogged in his quest, tracking the Fellowship of the Ring to Amon Hen, where he slew Boromir with ruthless efficiency.
As captain of Lurtz's strike force, Uglûk assumes command of the Uruk-hai scouts after the ambush on Amon Hen and the death of their leader, leading his warriors (and their Hobbit prisoners) towards Isengard. Unwavering obedience to Saruman's orders is all that drives Uglúk forward, and when Grishnákh's Orcs threaten his prisoners, Uglúk acts quickly, restoring order and loyalty within the ranks (and putting meat on the menu!) with a single swing of his sword. .
These Uruk-hai heroes are powerful leaders of their brutal troops. Lurtz is armed with a bow, shield, and Uruk-hai scimitar, while Uglûk carries a bloody scimitar and the freshly severed head of an Orc that has displeased him.
This set contains two metal miniatures of Lurtz and Uglûk, supplied with two Citadel 25mm round bases.
