Marneus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines, is not only an accomplished warrior, but also a gifted strategist. He is the master of Ultramar, a vast expanse of space in the besieged Eastern Fringe. It was he who launched the counter-invasion of the xenos-infected planet Vigilus with veteran fighters Lethro Ados and Nemus Adranus, two of his most loyal allies in the Victrix Guard, always at his side.
Marneus Calgar was the first to undergo the extremely risky surgery to transform a traditional Space Marine into Primaris, and this is represented in this new miniature. He is the perfect leader for any Ultramarines army, while the Victrix Guard gives him even greater robustness and destructive capacity in battle.
