AIM Scientist George Tarleton had the dubious distinction of being chosen as the subject of a procedure that would transform him into a unique, bioengineered living computer. Unable to use his limbs, Tarleton was confined to a floating chair, providing him with mobility and a lethal array of conventional weaponry. Since then, MODOK has used his vast intellect and exceptional psychic powers to terrorize the world as the leader of AIM and one of the world's most dangerous and unpredictable enemies.
