71.212 MERDC Desert Colors

In the 1970s, the US Mobility Equipment Research & Design Command (MERDC) developed a camouflage pattern system for US Army vehicles. These consisted of a system of standardized patterns for each vehicle, to be used with a twelve-color system. The set includes all the shades necessary to represent the Gray and Red Desert patterns.
