The Penitent Engines attack the enemy regardless of danger, aware that only in death, their own or that of the enemy, can absolution be obtained. The engine's arms, armed with towering flamethrowers, plow a trail of burning destruction as it advances. Upon reaching the enemy, the pilot's chemical and synaptic connections are altered, causing them to see their own face in that of the enemy. Striking those in front of them, all of whom reflect their unfathomable guilt, they lay waste to the enemy battle lines, leaving death and pain in their wake. Some Engines feature adamantium-toothed saws capable of cutting through a tank's armor, and others tear flesh and pulverize bone with blows from their multi-headed flagella.
Each Penitent Engine is equipped with a pair of heavy flamethrowers and your choice of penitent saws or flail. Alternatively, the entire Penitent Engine can be assembled as a Mortifier, or as a fully enclosed Anchorite, equipped with heavy bolters instead of heavy flamers.
This kit consists of 126 pieces and includes all weapons and mounting options for all three variants. The miniature also includes 2 Citadel 50mm round bases.
