A strong core of reliable and adaptable warriors who can fire while advancing or holding ground is an invaluable aid to any strategist. In the case of strike forces reinforced by Primaris Battle-Brothers, this role is filled by Intercessor Squads. Capable of leveling overlapping salvos of firepower, these squads often form the flexible combat core of newly founded Primaris Chapters, although of course many established Chapters have eagerly taken advantage of their abilities, placing them alongside Tactical Squads.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a set of 10 Primaris Intercessors. Using Mk X Tacticus armor to take advantage of their protection and mobility, they prove to be reliable and adaptable warriors, each armed with bolt rifles. Their bolt rifles can be 1 of 3 variants: the standard bolt rifle with sickle magazine, the automatic bolt rifle with supercharger and box magazine, or the stalker bolt rifle with longer range scope and straight magazine. There are 16 right shoulder pads decorated with Intercessor iconography, enough to cover each of the variant arms, including 2 with an open radio panel, 2 gesturing for his squad to stop, 2 holding combat knives, and 2 pistols bolter . There are a total of 24 different heads available in this kit, covering both helmeted and non-helmeted options.
Models can be assembled as a 10-man squad, a 9-man Intercessor squad with a Sergeant, or 2 separate 5-man squads, each with a Sergeant of their own. Sergeants feature unique heads, with a helmet magnetically locked to their belt and unique rocker plates to help them stand out.
Reflecting their versatility on the battlefield, Intercessors come with many additional details to add to their armor: 12 pistol holsters (2 empty, for Intercessors who actually wield them), 10 ammo and grenade pouches, 6 scabbards of combat knives (4 empty), 4 bags of a grenade and 4 bags of bolt pistol ammunition.
Primaris Intercessors come in 266 components and are supplied with 10 Citadel 32mm round bases and a decal sheet.
