The Puma is possibly one of the most attractive armored vehicles of World War II. A variant of the Sdkfz 234 featured a fully enclosed turret with a 5 cm gun and thicker armor than other variants. Despite this additional armor, the Puma was still capable of reaching speeds in excess of 50 miles per hour (that's 85 km) and was used as a scout vehicle from 1943 onwards on the Eastern and Western Fronts, as even the armor The thickened shell didn't offer much in the way of protection.
The fully enclosed turret of the Puma variant had a 50 mm KwK 30 cannon.
