Recknor, the implacable. Recknor arrived in the border town of Varenheim and in a short time became the best blacksmith in the country. His increasingly in-demand presence in the capital forced him to remain separated from his family for long periods of time. When Varenheim was under siege, Recknor begged his lord to free the city to save his loved ones. The duke did his duty, but after taking precautions, it was too late for many citizens, including the Recknor family. When he found out, he armed himself and went through the throne room, killing everyone who was in front of him, until he took the duke's life. “You just had to take up arms and fight, my lord.” Unfortunately, no one was alive to learn the lesson.
