The thugs and scoundrels who heeded Sharkey's call to invade the Shire could be considered among the worst examples of the race of men. Their hearts were filled with greed for what others had gained, and bitterness toward the joy of those around them. This cruelly manifested itself in a way that quickly and violently oppressed the hobbits.
As their name suggests, the Ruffians are a bunch of crudely equipped stalkers who serve Sharkey. The set includes a total of 12 ruffians, armed as follows:
- 3 armed with blades
- 3 armed with clubs
- 3 armed with bows
- 2 armed with whips.
- 1 armed with the club and carrying a drinking vessel.
The set contains 12 metal miniatures, each supplied with a 25mm round citadel base. Its rules can be found in the Lord of the Rings™ armies and the Shire tour.
