Many alien races can be found working alongside T'au Overseers. One such breed is the Vespid Stingwings. They serve as auxiliary troops to the T'au army, highly valued for their ability to overcome dangerous terrain at high speed. They make ideal mobile reserve and flanking troops, although the T'au rely on the neurohelm worn by Hymenoptera to communicate with the winged stingers and coordinate their actions.
Each Vespid Stingwings miniature comes with chitinous wings and terrifyingly sharp claws, not to mention their powerful weapons. The weapon he carries, the neutron blaster, is unique to the Vespid race, although its technology is supplied by the T'au. A powerful crystal collected from the underground is mounted in the barrel of each weapon, making them some of the deadliest weapons of their type.
This high-quality resin miniature comes in fifteen components and is supplied with five 40mm round bases with which to build five Vespid Stingwings.
