The Ringwraiths, the Nazgûl, the Nine, the Black Horsemen, are all names for Sauron's terrifying undead servants. They were once kings of the races of men who were gifted rings of power by Sauron. However, they became corrupted by the Dark Lord's power and fell into nothingness, their bodies fading and their minds twisted by malice and cruelty. They now serve Sauron unwaveringly, for they are completely enslaved to his will.
The Black Horsemen comprise nine of Sauron's most powerful servants. Whether the leaders of the Dark Lord's Dark Minions war band together or they did in pursuit of the ring, each ringwraith is a formidable opponent, none more so than their leader, the Witch King of Angmar.
The set contains three metal miniatures, each supplied in three components and with a 40mm round citadel base. Its rules can be found in the armies of the Lord of the Rings, and can even be terrified like the legendary black runners who use the rules in the quest for the ring supplement.
