The ruler of Mirkwood, Thranduil is a wise but proud king who cares little for those beyond his own borders. Travel to Erebor to claim the white gems of Lasgalen that dwell within the mountain, gems that Thranduil desires above all else to remember his late wife. When his attempt to exchange the Arkenstone for the return of these gems fails, Thranduil prepares to launch an assault on Erebor. However, the arrival of Azog's armies interrupts the feud between elves and dwarves, and Thranduil prepares for a battle he did not expect.
As King of Mirkwood, Thranduil is the first of the Heroes in Thranduil's Hall army list. He can take to the battlefield on horseback or lead his fellow Wood Elves on foot. He is armed with a finely crafted elven sword.
The set contains three resin miniatures: Thranduil with armor (both on foot and on horseback) and Thranduil without armor, supplied with 2 Citadel 25mm round bases and 1 Citadel 40mm round base.
