Typhon Heavy Siege Tank

The Typhon is named after the "Great Beast" of Terran myth, and lives up to its namesake in sheer brutal strength. Sharing a basic chassis with the Spartan Assault Tank, this heavy tank serves as a mobile weapons platform with enough power to operate a single piece of siege artillery: the Dreadhammer cannon. The Typhon was created to meet the demands of Primarch Perturabo of the Iron Warriors, who sought a war engine that could rapidly deploy fortress-breaking firepower along the line of battle alongside his legionaries. Although its design is not very subtle, its overwhelming effectiveness is beyond doubt.

This multi-part plastic kit builds a Typhon Heavy Siege Tank, an armored tank with a truly huge cannon. The primary armament of this formidable vehicle is the Dreadhammer siege cannon, a centerline-mounted weapon capable of breaching bunkers, destroying enemy engines, and crushing entire squads. In addition to its primary weapon, the Typhon also has a pair of secondary weapons: your choice of heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins. Both the siege cannon and sponsons can be assembled without glue, allowing you to adjust their position in the middle of battle.

The kit also includes components to upgrade the Typhon Heavy Siege Tank with a pivot-mounted weapon: a Havoc Launcher, Heavy Bolter, Heavy Flamer, Multifuse, or Combo Weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, fusion, plasma, or volkite), as well as a searchlight, a hunter-killer missile, and a number of cosmetic options, such as tow hooks, stealths, and a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch option.

This kit consists of 221 plastic components and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes vehicle transfer sheet containing 44 optional markings and icons for the Sons of Horus Legions and the Imperial Fists. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly. We recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Color Paints.
