Freed from the pits of Orthanc with a single mission, Uruk-hai Scouts loyal to the White Hand were tasked with dragging the Ringbearer to the White Wizard. Stronger than the orcs and more able to withstand the glare of the sun, these warriors could run for days and still fight with animal ferocity. Before long, raiding parties of Scouts also entered Rohan, razing the settlements and driving the Rohirrim from their homes.
