Note: A copy of the Necromunda: Underhive boxed game is required to use this supplement.
The rules included in the Necromunda: Underhive game box cover the battles between Houses Escher and Goliath, but those are not the only houses competing for supremacy in the underhives. Necromunda: Gang War 3 introduces House Van Saar; the technological superpower of Necromunda, creators of the best weapons and armor of all the Houses, whose power is built around a dark secret. Along with them, the book introduces the Savages, a new type of leech, and rules to expand the role of the Referee in Turf Wars games.
This 90-page softcover book contains:
- Bands of House Van Saar: This section contains the history of House Van Saar (their love of all things technological, their incredible craftsmanship, and the secret that is quickly killing them from within) along with a detailed explanation of the position they occupy in the hierarchy of Necromunda, and the methods with which they exert violence against their rivals. Also includes complete rules for founding a House Van Saar raid, with raid composition and an exhaustive equipment list; - Expanded equipment lists for all Houses, including a wider range of equipment available for Orlock, Escher and Goliath raids; - Savages: Add additional muscle to your gang with this new type of leech, which includes profiles and rules for the following characters: the Luther-designed Digger Automaton and “Jotunn”, an H-rank Servitor-Ogryn; - The Warehouse: After the battle, raid leaders come here to barter and purchase weapons and equipment from a variety of merchants and caravans - this is a huge list of equipment, weapons, armor and status items, all with prices listings and rarity; - Status Items: 3 new types of equipment available to leaders of any raid, purchasable as normal in the Warehouse; - Referee Campaigns: Expanding on the rules introduced in Gang War 1, this section expands the role of the Referee, introduces different types of campaigns, and introduces a host of new events and scenarios.
