The Arachni-rigs of the Ash Wastes, known to House Van Saar as Arachnika Ash-jumpers, are armored exoskeletons designed to traverse the rugged surface of Necromunda. Jump jets allow them to overcome obstacles, jump out of trouble, or unexpectedly fall among their enemies. Heavy weapons and surprising mobility make Ash-jumpers a match for rival vehicles and nomadic wargroups, as they tear through Cargo-8 trains with laser and plasma blasts, clear rough terrain with flamethrowers and radioactive weapons, and trap targets with harpoons
This multi-part plastic kit builds two Arachni Van Saar Ash Wastes platforms, ground variants of the Arachni platform that can be added to any Van Saar raid. These mobile exosuits are heavily armored and equipped with powerful jump packs. Each of them features twin heavy laser carbines in their helmet, a pair of mechanical servo arms, and your choice of two arm-mounted cannons: a plasma gun or flamethrower, and a radioactive gun or harpoon launcher.
Each Ash Wastes Arachni-rig can be assembled with a closed cover or an open cover that reveals the pilot, who comes with two different heads. They are posed jumping in the air; Adventurous hobbyists can also remove the pegs from the arm and leg joints, allowing them to further adjust the posture.
This set consists of 120 plastic components and comes with 2 Citadel 50mm round bases with flying stems. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly.
