Vashtorr is the King of the Soul Forge, a demonic demigod of unbridled inventiveness and abominable artifice. When the Arkifane takes physical form, it is like a horror of pale flesh stretched over infernal mechanisms, rising into battle amid a cloud of lightning and smog. Vashtorr deals destruction with every whirring step, unleashing curses of techno gheist upon his enemies even as he designs upgrades for his hired demonic engines from the raw materials of real space.
This multi-part plastic kit builds Vashtorr the Arkifane, master of daemonic forges and factories. This imposing, otherworldly figure is covered in sinister cybernetic details, from the demonic exhausts and chimneys clustered on its hunched back to the mechadendrites writhing among the rubble of its stage base. He wields a crooked blacksmith's hammer in one hand, while the other extends into a vicious machine claw with a built-in firearm. Vashtorr wears an armored shell with a segmented metal apron; alternatively, it can be built without this armor, exposing more of the grotesque form beneath.
Standing approximately five inches tall from his metal helms to the tips of his thin wings, Vashtorr is a striking figure on the battlefield and a worthy player in the Great Game of the Chaos Gods.
This kit consists of 47 plastic components and comes with a Citadel 80mm round base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly.
The complete rules for using Vashtorr the Arkifane in Warhammer 40,000 games can be found in Arks of Omen: Vashtorr and are available as a free downloadable PDF from the Warhammer Community website.
